This is a lovely coffee-table type of book with scrumptious photography throughout. It is relatively inexpensive and widely available, so might make a good intro book for people just starting out with peonies. However, content-wise it falls short of some of the other peony books out there (the ones by Martin Page, Allan Rogers, or Jane Fearnley-Whittingstall). There are quite a few errors as well (Chinese and Japanese cultivar names spelled wrong, peonies miscategorized, etc.) Overall not my top recommendation.
